Pubmed is dé databank met medische wetenschappelijke onderzoeken. Er zijn nu (feb. 2010) al meer dan 14000 artikelen over acupunctuur in opgenomen. Er staan natuurlijk onderzoeken in met een positieve, maar ook met een negatieve uitkomst, zo gaat het in de wetenschap. Maar een ieder die zegt dat er te weinig bewijs is voor acupunctuur maar nooit de moeite heeft genomen om de grootste en meest bekende medische databank ter wereld door te spitten is wel heel slecht geïnformeerd.
